Yuyu No Nihongo Podcast

We're thrilled to bring you this special collaboration between Satori Reader and Yuyu No Nihongo Podcast, a popular YouTube channel known for its fun and engaging monologues on a wide range of topics, from humorous anecdotes, to discussions of cultural differences, to musings about the meaning of life. Listening to Yuyu feels like tuning into your favorite late-night radio host: a friendly and familiar voice that is always warm and genuine.

For this series, we've done minimal editing, which means you'll hear more of the hesitation sounds and mid-sentence (sometimes mid-word!) corrections that people make in real-life, unscripted speech. Our goal is to immerse you in the kind of Japanese you'll encounter as you explore native podcasts on your own. As always, you can count on Satori Reader’s detailed annotations to help guide you through it all, making this series a fantastic way to ease into this kind of content.
